Presentation of a S6 in China During the Xi'an Shaanxi "China International General Aviation Convention" STEMME presented a S6. The aircraft was shown on static display and in flight demonstrations. STEMME staff was busy to inform interested parties on the sports and utility aircraft developed by the company. More than 100 aircraft were displayed at this large air show visited by an impressive number of aviation minded people. An indication of the increasing interest in General Aviation was the quantity of media representatives and delegations. STEMME was part of a German delegation well organized and managed by the BBAA Berlin-Brandenburg Aerospace-Allianz. A Chinese delegation visiting the STEMME facilities in the summer offered the invention to the Xi'an exhibition. The exhibition organizing "China Aviation Industrial Base" CAIB did a great job in organizing this event. 
  The first "Green Speed Cup" took place in Strausberg (Berlin) in August 2011. The "Green Speed Cup" (GSC) is a cross-country competition for any type of two-seat-aircraft. The target of the GSC is to fly as fast as possible while minimizing the consumption of fossil fuel energy. This first "Cup" was primary used to verify the rules and organization and therefore was flown by only four teams. The competition supports a research-cooperation between the Technical University of Dresden and STEMME with practical results. For both topics STEMME presented its products S10 and S15. In the UAV-Market STEMME together with SAGEM presented the new developments on the Patroller. Our utility-aircraft Stemme S15 was presented and brought very good feedback. Two important purchase-contracts and several reservations for the S-15 were concluded. Lilienthal-award presented to STEMME Dr. Stemme in person received the Lilienthal-award of the Berlin-Brandenburg Lilienthal-Prize-Foundation at May 12th. The ceremony was held to honor the outstanding development of the S15-"PATROLLER" utility aircraft by STEMME and its French Partner SAGEM. Flight Control System LAPAZ succesfully tested  The first phase of the innovative Flight Control System LAPAZ has been successfully completed. LAPAZ has been tested with an STEMME S15 aircraft. It is a cooperation between STEMME AG, the Technical University of Berlin and the University of Stuttgart. See the full press release here French Interior Ministry chooses S15 PATROLLER  For early detection and localisation of fires a PATROLLER developed by SAGEM and STEMME is tested by the French Interior Ministry. The aircraft is flown in autonomous operation mode over southern France. PATROLLER is equiped with a gyrostabilized Euroflir camera. Click here to view the press release
